
Search for: A skirt that slowly but surely flares out within an A creation from the natural waistline to the ground, highlighting the narrowness of the midsection and floating away from the hips and thighs. (Sturdier fabrics, such as duchesse taffeta and satin, are especially effective, given that they won't cling.) A spaghetti-strap bodice or a V neckline will showcase a far more slim chest muscles also.

Keep in mind: A vintage A-line silhouette lends itself to formal marriages, but it can be dressed down when made from a more casual fabric also, like eyelet raw-silk or ribbons shantung.
