
Search for: A skirt that slowly but surely flares out in an A formation from the natural waistline to the ground, highlighting the narrowness of the midsection and floating away from the sides and thighs. (Sturdier fabrics, such as duchesse satin and taffeta, are effective especially, since they won't cling.) A spaghetti-strap bodice or a V neckline will showcase a far more slim chest muscles also.

Remember: A classic A-line silhouette lends itself to formal wedding ceremonies, but it can be dressed down when made from a more informal fabric also, like eyelet ribbons or raw-silk shantung.
